Pregnancy Postures

Hello Deepika,

I have a few safe postures for pregnancy shown on my Yoga and Pregnancy page and on the Beginners Poses pages here on my website. I don't have a Yoga DVD yet, but may do one soon. You can go on Amazon.com and find many good yoga dvd's for pregnancy. Hope that helps!

If you're 4 months pregnant (from week 12 to 16 aprox) the best poses to start with would be around building a strong base.
- Mountain POse to feel grounded, forward bend, Warrior Pose 1 and 2 to help to buid up your concentration and determination, Tree Pose for Concentration.... that's for standing up then..
- Butterfly to open up your hips joins, Cat POse for your lower back, CHild Pose to come back to center and relax... for an example of floor Pose.

Of course this is only a really short list and there are so more available.

Just stay aware of your body limits, and smile...
A relax body is a more supple body.
