Yoga's Benefits

I wanted to share a story about how yoga helped me. I was in the middle of a divorce and feeling like I would never make it through the difficulty. I was introduced to yoga by a friend who had to drag me to a class. Here I am two years later with a totally new outlook on life and happier than I've ever been. My body, my mind and my efforts are constantly in an upward evolution thanks to yoga!

Best Solution for Personal Problems

The best solution for one to overcome personal problems is meditation. Meditation does bring a lot of respite in one's life with all features. However, this mediation has to be learned properly.

Meditation brings your mind in a single envelope in which you can relax yourself and do a lot of service to humanity. Self-healing is totally dependent on mediation. Merely trying to bring
our mind into complete concentration is not possible overnight, but possible only after some practice. It is true that positive impact can be created through meditation.

Breath awareness is the main technique followed widely and it has been practiced in almost all countries. However, harnessing the mind is not so simple for a layman but easy for the man who is totally immersed in mediation. There are also many other techniques like mandala, candle and image besides breath technique. In order to relieve stress and strain it is a must to practice mediation to realize your inner mind and speak with it.

Healing through yoga

When the main focus of your existence becomes one of compassion through yoga, you start being more compassionate, not only towards others, but to yourself. Remember, Ahimsa means non-violence towards all beings, and that includes yourself. So when we realize that a bad situation ended (as in divorce), we should be thankful that the assault against us has stopped. We are then free to find better situations in which to give our energy.
